The solitary claim of affection.
The pathetic young man,
who’d been asked to face his greatest test, too badly frayed.
His heart seemed to strike nausea inside of him.
This creature, god,
could be a devil.
Terror now swallowing the nausea.
Fear came into his eyes. But then,
the frailness of his pale, drawn face,
the very shaking of this creature;
he was harmless.
